MCP OAuth client-interop conformance: prove real clients can connect

Prove real MCP clients can connect: a 5-client x IdP-shape conformance matrix over real HTTP, with perishable per-cell verdicts and step-exact shim prescriptions.

One spec-compliant MCP server broke in 3 of 5 real clients, each in a different place. This harness runs five scripted client profiles encoding documented real-client OAuth behaviours (MCP Inspector, Claude Desktop, Cursor, Claude Code, VS Code) over real HTTP against an authorization-server fixture built to the server shape you describe, and returns a perishable verdict per cell — PASS, or FAIL with the exact failing step and a step-exact server-side shim prescription verified to flip the cell to PASS on re-run. It reproduces the three documented breaks: Cursor x Cognito-like DCR, Claude Code x Cognito-like DCR-despite-client_id (anthropics/claude-code #38102), and VS Code x strict-loopback redirect port. Lab proof (LABREPORT-022): 8/8 tests; full 15-cell matrix 4.29 s; measured serving cost $0.01145/server/mo.

Per-check API $0.01 per check · Solo $9/mo per server · Fleet $29/mo (up to 10 servers; not self-serve) — x402, USDC on Base. Trial: first Solo month free for the first server, one time only, per operator account AND per payer wallet.
