The product is provided by TextForAgents LLC to operators of multi-tool / multi-agent runs and to agents mid-run, who submit a cancel record (legs dispatched, request IDs, target identifiers) and receive a signed per-leg cancellation-outcome receipt; each operator is responsible for the accuracy of the cancel record it submits and for the decisions (re-issue vs move on) it makes on a verdict.
Stated plainly, because the lab proved the boundaries: UNKNOWN is a first-class signed verdict, never folded into STOPPED - a leg with no decidable surface can only ever return UNKNOWN; real-server probe coverage and the real-world UNKNOWN rate are unmeasured - the mechanism is proven against simulators modelling the documented shapes, not live third-party servers; deep-probe legs are quoted exactly, never silently absorbed into the simple-probe price (deep legs exact-quote only); willingness to pay is unmeasured - nobody has sold this verdict before.
(i) UNKNOWN is a complete, billable verdict, never a failure and never folded into STOPPED - a leg whose downstream exposes no decidable surface can only ever return UNKNOWN, and the receipt names the probe attempted and the cause; (ii) probe coverage on real third-party servers is UNMEASURED at packet time - the lab proved the mechanism against simulators modelling the documented shapes (status endpoint, idempotency/resource surface, task surface, no-surface, ambiguous, flaky-then-stops), not against live third-party servers, and no public surface presents simulator coverage as a real-server UNKNOWN rate; (iii) deep-probe legs are never served from the $0.01 tier, the flat $4.99 audit, a plan allotment, or the free grant - a leg requiring a deep probe is named as such in its receipt (probe_class) and is served only as a fronted exact quote; (iv) a verdict is evidence about downstream state at probe time, graded against the cancel timestamp where the surface allows - it is not a guarantee that a server honoured a cancel, and LANDED timing graded "unknown-timing" is receipted as such, never upgraded; (v) corroboration never rides the request - probes resolve only against the server-side registry populated out-of-band, and caller fields claiming a verdict or evidence are stripped and ignored.
Paid use is pay-per-call / subscription as stated in the pricing sheet; the one-time trial grant (one free full cancel audit per operator, ever - simple-probe legs only) is exactly as stated there and does not renew. Use past a plan's included counts meters at the standalone prices.
The service may be stopped via its kill switch; receipts already taken remain readable and verifiable for operator review and are never rewritten by stopping - receipts are HMAC-signed, and a tampered receipt fails verification rather than being silently repaired. Backups of service state are retained 30 days.
