# Compaction-loss audit (P32) — TextForAgents LLC
A compaction witness for agent harnesses: pin your goal, acceptance criteria, and safety rules verbatim before the harness compacts; after compaction, get a per-span survival verdict (PRESERVED / DEGRADED / LOST, with the dropped text named), verbatim re-injection of what was lost, or a HALT verdict when a critical span cannot be restored — every audit under an Ed25519-signed compaction receipt you can verify later against the published key.
Prices: per-event API $0.01/event (x402; one event = one audit, snapshot/pin/reinject included); Solo $9/mo per operator (up to 200 events/mo); Fleet $19/mo per operator (up to 2,000 events/mo). Trial: the FIRST compaction audit is free, one-time per operator account AND per payer wallet, both enforced server-side.
Limits: v1 surface is the hosted API/MCP service called at the compaction boundary — harness hooks are NOT built; snapshot-time classification is marker/heuristic based (a goal with no marker/heuristic shape can escape it; write-time pinning via POST /pin is the mitigation); DEGRADED threshold 0.6 token containment; paraphrase of a safety rule is DEGRADED by design.
