The product is provided by TextForAgents LLC to MCP server operators / agent operators under the operator's own account; the operator is responsible for the asks it hands the bridge and for the sessions it binds them to.
The bridge is a server-side (or gateway) delegate: the server hands the bridge an elicitation/create (form schema or URL); the bridge renders it out-of-band to the operator, enforces accept/decline/cancel semantics and expiry, binds the answer to the session + requestState, and returns it in the shape the session's protocol era expects — a bare ElicitResult for the initialize-declared eras (2025-03 / 2025-11), or an MRTR inputResponses entry bound to the session's requestState for the 2026-07 era.
Decline and cancel stay first-class — never silently converted to a default. A delivered decline or cancel is the answer; the bridge never proceeds on a default value in place of an answer that was asked for.
Expiry is final and honest: an ask that expires resolves to cancel, is uncharged, and does not consume the operator's one-time free ask. An answer at exactly expires_at is live; past it, the ask is cancelled and any late content is dropped. Default TTL is 300 s.
Form mode is for non-secret input only. Form mode refuses secret-named fields at create (passwords, API keys, access tokens, payment credentials belong in URL mode). URL mode completes only via the opaque completion callback described in the Privacy page.
Answers are validated against the restricted elicitation schema subset; an answer that fails validation leaves the ask pending and uncharged — it is never coerced into a passing answer.
