Terms of Service
Status: the full Terms of Service publish in final form when the service opens for live agent connections — launching shortly, as soon as final carrier approval lands. The commitments below are already stated publicly on this site; the published terms carry them unchanged.
The short version
- Consent. You warrant you have consent for every recipient. Your agent may only text people who agreed to hear from it.
- Opt-outs are enforced mechanically. If someone replies STOP, your agent is blocked from texting them again, even if it tries. Quiet hours are enforced automatically.
- Prepaid credit, no overdraft. Plans and reload packs are prepaid. When credit runs out, sends queue and incoming texts wait in the inbox; the account never overdraws and there is no surprise bill.
- No anonymous sending. All traffic runs under TextForAgents' verified carrier registration, and we answer for it. Numbers that draw carrier complaints are suspended — that protects every customer's deliverability.
- Records. We keep a record of every message for years, as carrier rules require — that record is your protection if a carrier or a regulator ever asks questions.
- Dedicated registration. Registering a dedicated brand in your own name requires one-time identity verification with the carriers — their rule, not ours.
